0-projects
0-projects focuses on projects with historical and contemporary art, with an international network of prominent writers, researchers, and producers. 0-projects is specialised in reconstructing ideas, installations, works, historical exhibitions, and has the "archeology's" ability to tell stories that reach beyond official or formal discourse.
Tijs Visser was head of exhibitions at the Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf (2001-08). He is the founding director of the ZERO foundation (2008-17). His exhibition Artempo at the Palazzo Fortuny in Venice (2007) has set a new direction in exhibition making. He (co) curated the Biennale from Venice (2009), Moscow (2009) and Herning (2017 and 2021). He initiated and curated exhibitions at the Guggenheim New York (2015), the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Martin Gropiusbau in Berlin and the Sabanci Museum in Istanbul (2016), u.o.. The 0-INSTITUTE is his ongoing research project, which started in 2005 with the Nul- and in 2008 with the ZERO archive. Results of the research were used u.o. in the HEART Museum in Herning (2017), the Pompidou (2020) in Metz, the Martin Gropiusbau in Berlin (2021).
